The Dog-Gone Easter Egg Hunt is our annual fundraising event to benefit local charities.  It's a fun event for all ages!  With help from sponsors in our community, Pet Connection Magazine presents the 6th Annual Dog-Gone Easter Egg Hunt for Charity! 

When: March 30th, 2013

Time: 10am - 3pm

Where: The RAC, (Regional Athletic Center of Lacey)  <-- This link will take you to the Official "RAC" webpage.

All proceeds go to local charities: Old Dog Haven, Feline Friends, and Concern For Animals

The Day's Activities

Doggie Easter Egg Hunts : Dogs on leash hunt for Easter Eggs!  When the dog touches one of the plastic eggs with their nose, into your basket it goes.  When the time is up, open all your eggs...for every sticker you find you get a prize for your pup.

Doggie Fashion Show : Dress your dog up in their Easter finest!  Walk the runway and compete for awesome prizes in "Big Dog" and "Little Dog" categories

Vendor Booths : Browse through the vendor booths to meet local business owners and rescue groups.  You will be impressed at all the local products and services offered in our community!

Agility, Flyball, Herding, and Nosework Demos : Curious about these fun activities?  Enjoy demos throughout the day, and ask questions of the pros.

Bake Sale : Stocked with YUMMY homemade goodies, all proceeds go to the charities!

Goodie Bags : The first 500 people get a free bag full of treats and other goodies

Cow Plop Bingo : Tickets are $10.00. CASH PRIZE $1000 goes to the person who has the ticket for the square where the cow plops! Second prize is a year supply of dog food from Evangers!  A super fun way to raise money for the charities!!

From I-5 Southbound (from Seattle / Tacoma)
Take Exit 111 Marvin Road NE.  Turn lift at the top of the ramp onto Marvin Road NE.  Go 1.2 miles.  At traffic signal, turn left onto Steilacoom Road SE.  Then turn right into the main gate.

From I-5 Northbound (from Olympia / Portland)
Take Exit 111 Marvin Road NE (southbound).  From the right exit lane, bear right onto Galaxy Drive NE.  Turn left onto Martin Way E.  Turn right onto Marvin Road SE.  Go 0.6 mile.  At traffic signal, turn left onto Steilacoom Road SE.  Then turn right into the main gate.
