True-blue: adjective.

  1. Marked by unswerving loyalty
  2. Genuine

Roy Robinson is a name that’s been synonymous with true-blue for more than six decades. Their true-blue philosophy has focused on building lasting relationships with customers and employees alike – and they have become a vital part of our local community. Roy Robinson Chevrolet, Subaru, and RV Center was founded by Roy A. Robinson, who worked in the Merchant Marines and as a sailor after the second World War. In 1958, he founded his family-oriented dealerships with the desire to provide an exemplary experience for customers and employees alike. Decades later, that passion for excellence continues.

Fourteen-year-old Kerouac was inspired by the famous spaghetti scene after one of her favorite movies, Lady and the Tramp, was re-released. She ran to Roy Robinson to pick up the redesigned Subaru Outback in Abyss Blue Pearl to go on a spaghetti picnic with her true-blue stuffed toys.

Located in Marysville, Washington, Roy Robinson Chevrolet, Subaru, and RV Center strives to be the best in every area of the car industry, providing an exceptional customer experience, an enjoyable place to work, and strong support for the community, including nonprofit organizations.

Roy Robinson is true-blue to its customers, its employees, and the community. Blue is the “unofficial” official color of Subaru, so it’s no wonder that car racing enthusiasts refer to the color World Rally Blue as “Subaru blue.” Fittingly, True Blue (also known as Classic Blue) is the Pantone Color of the Year for 2020, too.

Roy Robinson proudly supports several local organizations, including Marysville Food Bank, Marysville Rotary, Tulalip Foundation, and Providence Hospital.

“It means a lot to work for a company whose contributions have such a positive impact on our local community,” said General Sales Manager Robb McCalmon.

Roy Robinson’s mission is simple: customer service so good that when a customer leaves their store, there’s no question they’ll return. This philosophy applies to every customer, whether they have two legs or four. And the four-legged customers have taken note, too: Roy Robinson is dog-friendly, and Subaru has long been known as the vehicular choice of dog owners, as well. Dogs would choose Subarus, too, if they could!

“We welcome our customers’ pets every day at Roy’s,” Robb said. “Most days, if you come in, you’ll see dogs sitting next to the couch in the waiting room. We even have Beans, an employee’s poodle, who goes on dealer trade drives to other dealers in the area.” Beans, who has logged well over 100,000 miles with Roy Robinson, is currently taking a break from his important work, “Beans still stops by to say hi and grab a treat from the office quite often,” he said, laughing.

Subaru’s award-winning lineup, which includes the Impreza, Crosstrek, Forester, Ascent, BRZ, WRX, the WRX STI, and newly redesigned Legacy and Outback, has something to offer every driver – and every dog, too!

Already popular options in their lineup, the Outback and Legacy have both been redesigned for 2020. The Outback’s biggest changes for 2020 include a bolder grille, wider fenders, a hands-free power liftgate, heated seats, the model’s first available WiFi hotspot, and an 11.6-inch infotainment screen. The Legacy’s biggest changes for 2020 include a quieter, more comfortable cabin, increased agility and body stiffness, an improved infotainment system, increased fuel economy, more advanced safety features, and updates to the headlights, wheel arches, and grille, which yield a more streamlined look.

“We’re thrilled with the all new 6th generation Outback and Legacy,” Robb said. “They’re the most comfortable and most advanced vehicles ever. They are now designed to meet or exceed current and future safety standards. We’re so excited to be able to offer such a great vehicle for our customers’ active lifestyles!”

You can view all of Subaru’s lineup at Roy Robinson’s showroom and schedule a test drive to see which vehicle best fits you—and your pup, too! And shopping at Roy Robinson provides an opportunity to give back.

The Love Promise Customer Commitment Award nationally recognizes Subaru retailers that demonstrate excellence in all areas of customer-focused performance. “It’s a great honor to win this award,” said Robb. “Our employees deserve the credit here. We couldn’t accomplish it without their commitment to make sure all of our customers have an extraordinary experience while at Roy’s.”

Roy Robinson proudly supports local animal organizations, including the Everett Animal Shelter, M-Dog Strawberry Fields for Rover, and Save-A-Mutt. “During the past two Octobers, we hosted a pet adoption event here at the dealership. Each year, more than 100 people showed up,” Robb said. “Both years, every dog who attended the event found a new home, and we’re already looking forward to hosting this adoption event again next October.”
